Thanksgiving Baskets

Collecting from October 21-November 18

The week of Thanksgiving, our students will deliver food to ten families in need. West Valley Community Services will connect us with families in and near Saratoga. The "baskets" consist of traditional Thanksgiving items as well as everyday groceries. The food will be boxed and distributed the Sunday before Thanksgiving - November 18th.

The students cannot do this alone and need your help. Starting October 21st, we will collect non-perishable foods in bins on our campus.  To make a financial donation towards perishable food, you can donate online at If you would like to give a check or cash, you can leave it in Tracy Fell's office. Please mark envelopes and memo lines "Thanksgiving Baskets."

Assembly and Delivery

November 18th, 12:15 PM in LifeHouse

Sunday, November 18th. Meet in the LifeHouse at 12:15 PM. We will sort donations and then compile a shopping list. We will take a break for a pizza lunch. Then students and leaders will go to Safeway to buy perishable and outstanding items. Students will return to church and assemble boxes. Boxes will then be loaded into cars and students will go make 1-2 deliveries in smaller groups. Students should be back at the church for pickup around 3:00 PM. Sign-up to volunteer on our website:
